Senior Copywriter, Online Media
linda@lighthousestrategicgroup.com
Linda began her career after receiving a B.S. degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Linda's way with words landed her a job in Hecht's advertising department as a retail copywriter. While there, Linda wrote copy for several fashion and cosmetic companies including Levi's, Liz Claiborne, Estee Lauder, and Clinique.
After becoming assistant copy director and spending six years at Hecht's, Linda jumped ship and hopped aboard a plane to St. Petersburg, Russia. There, she acted as curriculum consultant to professors and taught English as a Second Language and Creative Writing to university-level students. She describes her time in Russia as "magical" and "the best life experience."
In 1994 after spending one academic year and a long winter in Russia, Linda came back to DC, and began working as a freelance writer and editor. Some of her clients included Bell Atlantic, EDS, DynCorp, ProMarket, and Stackig Advertising and Public Relations.
In August 1997, Linda was hired as senior writer for Arnold Communication's Interactive Department where she met and began working with other members of the Lighthouse Strategic Group team. She has worked on high-profile accounts such as Mobil, PSINet, SAP, Sallie Mae, and the American Red Cross. Her projects have included Web sites, intranets, Internet advertising, and multimedia presentations. Linda's dedication and talent have enabled her to serve as a creative director and important contributor on many nationally known brands.
Linda lives with her husband and their son in Northern Virginia.
